Following the EOI closing date (8th April), submissions will be assessed by a panel of expert judges, who will select up to 10 finalists.
These finalists will be invited to 'pitch' on stage at the Creative Industries Demo Day.
Before stepping on stage to pitch to an audience and judges, finalists will participate in a pre-event workshop hosted by world-class trainer and workshop facilitator Jacqueline Nagle of Any Given Tuesday.
This half-day workshop will help finalists fine-tune their skills and unlock the elements of influence to provide them with skills across pitching, story-telling, speaking, positioning, business model analysis, and strategy.
Demo Day Prep Workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, 20th April. Before submitting an EOI, please ensure that if successful you will be available to attend.

Hosted by Louise Bezzina, Artistic Director of Brisbane Festival, finalists will be invited to pitch their business idea to a panel of judges made up of industry leaders in the creative industries including:

The pitching element of the afternoon will be followed by an exclusive celebratory networking event.

The Creative Industries Demo Day is part of a suite of innovation programs being delivered via Innovate Moreton Bay, as part of Council’s commitment to the Regional Economic Development Strategy (REDS) which includes the objective of becoming a top ten regional innovation hub.
