Expressions of Interest now open for Advance Queensland's 2024 Tropical Innovation Festival Delegation

The Tropical Innovation Festival is an opportunity to celebrate innovation and entrepreneurship while being inspired,

learning and connecting in Tropical North Queensland. From 17 to 21 June, Cairns will host more than 50 events with

global entrepreneurs, CEOs, government leaders, investors, innovation visionaries and razor-sharp subject matter experts.

The Festival is a week-long program of inspiring keynotes, learning events, workshops, lunch and learns, masterclasses,

networking events, pitching opportunities, and mentoring sessions.

From 17 to 21 June, the festival will host more than 50 events in Cairns, including the Innovators on the Great Barrier Reef

including talks, learning labs and showcases with a focus on innovation in the climate, First Nations, Female Founders

and sustainability spaces.

Featuring global entrepreneurs, CEOs, government leaders, investors, innovation visionaries and razor-sharp subject matter experts,

the week-long program is teaming with inspiring keynotes, learning events, workshops, lunch and learns, masterclasses,

networking events, pitching opportunities and mentoring sessions.

Advance Queensland is supporting 40 Queensland innovators and ecosystem enablers to attend this year’s Festival in Cairns.

Successful applicants will be offered the opportunity to attend the festival in person (unless government restrictions restrict attendance).

Online registrations are not being offered as part of this initiative.

To be eligible for this opportunity, you must:

• be a business, social enterprise or start-up organisations and ecosystem leaders headquartered in Queensland as of April 2024
• have an Australian Business Number (ABN)
• have no more than 100 full-time-equivalent employees
• not be a subsidiary of a group of companies that has more than 100 FTEs in total
• Only one (1) application per ABN or a financial beneficiary of a business
• Enterprises with a focus on embedding innovation and entrepreneurial business models and products/services, and/or leading the regional innovation ecosystem.

Please note: Advance Queensland support covers the Festival ticket only – successful applicants are responsible for any other costs

such as travel and accommodation associated with their attendance at the Festival.
