ActiveKIT Grant

The objective of ActiveKIT is to support innovative solutions within the Active Industry to increase physical activity opportunities for target cohorts and contribute to the Industry’s capability and resilience.

Through ActiveKIT, we will support organisations within the Active Industry, including start-ups or small to medium enterprises, to trial and implement new and innovative products or services that respond to 2 key challenges:

  • Challenge 1: Increase physical activity participation of Queenslanders who are insufficiently active
  • Challenge 2: Strengthen the capability of organisations within the Active Industry including financial health and workforce capability.

Amount Available: Tier 1: Up to $100k, Tier 2: $100,001 to $200k

Active Australia Innovation Challenge Grant

The Heart Foundation has up to twenty $10,000 grants for new, innovative projects that get more people
moving in schools, universities or local community groups.

The Heart Foundation strongly encourages innovative projects that specifically support people not
meeting Australia’s Physical Activity and Sedentary Behaviour Guidelines, people at risk of chronic
disease, and people living in communities with high levels of physical inactivity, including rural and remote regions. This includes people identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and people with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

Amount Available: $10,000

Boosting Female Founders Initiative - Round 2

The Boosting Female Founders Initiative – Round 2 helps female entrepreneurs overcome the disadvantages faced in getting access to finance and support to grow their startups. Targeted support will be on a co-contribution basis.

Amount Available: between $25,000 and $480,000

Commercialisation Fund Grant

The Commercialisation Fund will support project collaborations between industry and research partners to commercialise new manufacturing products and processes. Grants will be between $100,000 and $1 million and must be matched by industry.

Projects will be supported within the Government’s 6 National Manufacturing Priorities: Medical Products, Food and Beverage, Resources Technology and Critical Minerals Processing, Recycling and Clean Energy, Defence, and Space.

Amount Available: between $100,000 and $1 million

Litter and Marine Debris Clean up and Prevention of the Community Sustainability Action grants is now available for projects which seek to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill and/or litter and marine debris in our environment.

E-commerce Grant Program

The E-commerce Grant Program (EGP) is designed to provide Queensland exporters with up to AU$10,000 of grant funding to enhance their e-commerce presence in international markets to drive online sales.

Small to medium sized enterprises can apply for funding to assist with the eligible project costs of successfully marketing, re-engaging or enhancing a new or existing e-commerce presence in an international market.

You must be an existing exporter that has a trading history of more than 12 months and produce and export Queensland products and not act as a consolidator or distributor of Queensland, other domestic or imported products.

Amount Available: Up to $10,000
