Moreton Bay’s Chilli Coffee has won a swag of gongs in the coveted Mr Chilli Awards.

Chilli Coffee inventor James Sullivan says the company took out first, second and third for the best range of Chilli Coffee.

“To top that, Dragon Syrup, part of the Chilli Coffee group of companies, also won first, second and third in the Chilli Beverages category, a popular category with many other entrants,” James says.

The wins follow first place in the Chilli Beverage category at last year’s awards, just after the company launched.

Acknowledged by chilli peers

“Douglas (Bates), my business partner and I are thrilled to be acknowledged by our peers for our awesome tasting Mild Chilli Coffee, and Dragon Syrup ranges we have created.

“We were so excited when the announcement was made on Sunday.”

Since Chilli Coffee opened its doors in March last year, James and Douglas have created a series of world-first coffee and syrup innovations with different intensities of chilli spice.

Chilli Coffee has five heat intensities based on a premium Arabica coffee blend.

Rapid growth and strong ambition

Dragon Syrup recently released five low sugar flavours, the first Australian Bush Tucker flavour-enhanced syrups, two with added Guarana and Ginseng.

“We are not about chilli heat,” Douglas says.

“We have discovered a way to enhance and optimize all the existing great flavours coffee and our syrups have to offer. “

Continuing their rapid growth, James and Douglas recently collaborated with 4Real Milk in the Scenic Rim to release four chilli-enhanced flavoured milk drinks made with lactose-free milk.
