Moreton Bay Regional Council commits $2 million to help keep tradies in work

Local businesses urged to register on VendorPanel Marketplace

Moreton Bay Regional Council recently announced $2 million in accelerated asset maintenance works to help keep local people employed on local projects. Council’s priority will be to support local so businesses in the Moreton Bay Region who have not yet done so are strongly urged to register on VendorPanel Marketplace, the portal Council uses for the majority of low valued quotations.

Registering is easy and means you will be visible to a wide variety of buyers from within Moreton Bay Regional Council, other Councils and other Businesses. While registering does not guarantee work, it does provide suppliers with an opportunity to be visible in the marketplace and available to buyers. To register:

  1. Go to marketplace.vendorpanel.com
  2. Select ‘Register’
  3. You will receive an email invitation to join VendorPanel “Public Marketplace” Supplier list
  4. Follow the instructions to complete your registration (your profile must be completed in less than 5 minutes)
  5. If your business is invited to provide a quotation, you will be emailed the opportunity when released. You can review the requirements and submit your quotation via VendorPanel

Businesses can also monitor tender opportunities through LG Tenderbox www.lgtenderbox.com.au, Council’s Website www.moretonbay.qld.gov.au, and advertisements in The Courier Mail.
