Social Enterprise Development Grants – Apply Now

The Queensland Government has announced $8 million over the next 2 years for the Social Enterprise Jobs Fund, as part of the Future Skills Fund

The Jobs Fund will continue to build on the commitments under the Queensland Social Enterprise Strategy to support the development of a sustainable and thriving social enterprise sector.

Under the Jobs Fund, $3 million in funding will be delivered over the next 2 years through business development and growth grants for eligible organisations. The current delivery schedule for the grants is listed below.

The Social Enterprise Development Grants program will provide grants for approved projects to support newly established or early stage Queensland social enterprises to build capability and capacity, and increase business resilience and confidence.

Funding of between $5,000 and $25,000 (excluding GST) may be provided for eligible applicants to purchase equipment and resources, or access business services, to support a solid business foundation for the social enterprise.

Applications open at 9am on 27 May 2022 and close at 5pm on 30 June 2022.

The online application form and project budget template (XLSX, 40KB) are now available.

You must submit your application, including all supporting documentation, using the online application form.

Successful applicants will be determined following a merit based assessment process.
