The Business of Entrepreneurship Program
BDO has partnered with Advance Queensland and Office of Queensland Chief Entrepreneur to deliver 'The Business of Entrepreneurship' Program.
This program consists of two virtual financial education programs for startups and scaleups who:
- Have experienced an increase in demand and want to scale and grow their company, or
- Are doubling down on revenue right now and want to review their cash position and long term runway.
1. Free virtual Start to Scale Program (2 Days - 16 & 23 February 2021)
Develop the skills required to build a financial strategy supporting plans to scale, including a comprehensive business budget and a 90-day cash flow forecast. Demystify the investment and capital raising process and learn how to build a financially sound pitch and how to build a great team, recruit the right people to suit your culture and realise your vision.
This program is ideal for Entrepreneurs and Founders who:
- want to develop skills to maintain growth
- need to improve their financial literacy and acumen
- require the tools to manage runway and build financial strategy
2. Free virtual Runway Extender Program (2 Days - 23 & 30 March 2021)
Learn how to build a cash flow forecast and develop strategies to extend your runway. Be empowered by the knowledge of how to maximise a current cash position and identify strategies to stretch and improve cash flow. Find out how to negotiate with suppliers, obtain additional funding, if required and build a 90-day action plan to extend your runway.
This program is ideal for Entrepreneurs and Founders who:
- want to develop skills to maintain growth
- want to improve their financial literacy
- need a tool to calculate the length of their runway
